In 2006 Julianna Rose Mauriello was nominated for Daytime Emmy Award-Outstanding Performer in a children series ‘Lazy Town’ (2002). She appeared as a presenter on Iceland’s Edda Awards event and also made appearances either live or by broadcast in 70 countries across five continents Awards and achievements: Julianna Rose learnt the Icelandic language and became hugely popular in Iceland. This show was later relocated to Iceland to create episodes for three seasons. It depicted healthful messages for children its main audience, blending music and entertainment. This show for children was a huge success. The high point in her career came with her selection by Magnus Scheving, the creator of ‘Lazy Town’ to act as Stephanie. When performing at French Woods Performing Arts Festival, she was noticed by a prominent Theatre agent Nancy Carson who cast her as L’il Titch in the Rodgers and Hammerstein classic ‘Oklahoma’ in the year 2002.
